Kruger National Park Unveils New Dining Experiences for Visitors
SANParks has announced a series of new restaurant operators and facility upgrades across popular Kruger National Park camps to enhance the visitor experience.
Fresh Flavours Coming to Kruger
South African National Parks (SANParks) has officially announced the appointment of new restaurant operators at several key camps within the Kruger National Park. This initiative follows a competitive tender process aimed at revitalizing the park's hospitality offerings as part of a broader commitment to world-class tourism facilities.
What to Expect at Your Favourite Camps
Visitors can look forward to refreshed dining concepts and upgraded environments in the coming months. The transition includes:
- Lower Sabie: The former Mugg & Bean will be rebranded as the Sabie River Café.
- Pretoriuskop: The existing Wimpy will be replaced by Le Lapeng Burgers and Grill.
- Berg-en-Dal: The Tindlovu Restaurant will be transformed into the new Eziko Eatery.
- Skukuza: The popular Cattle Baron restaurant is scheduled for a comprehensive refurbishment to provide a modernised look and feel.
Planning Your Visit
SANParks has confirmed that temporary dining facilities with limited menus will remain operational during the refurbishment periods to ensure continuity for guests. While these upgrades may cause minor inconveniences, the park management has expressed appreciation for the patience of visitors as they work to unveil these improved facilities. These changes are expected to contribute significantly to job creation and economic growth within the region, further cementing the Kruger's status as a premier global safari destination.
