About this Destination
Rietfontein Game Farm in the Prince Albert district is the largest dedicated private hunting farm in the Western Cape, spanning 16,000 hectares (40,000 acres) of Great Karoo landscape. The farm lies in the valley of the Groot River and offers 17 huntable species by rifle or bow. Activities include mountain biking, hiking, fossil-hunting, star-gazing, and traditional Karoo hospitality. Three accommodation options are available, each with fireplaces and covered verandahs.
